_teen-jailed-for-town-centre-double-murder-in-halifax-video-west-yorkshire-police.webp "A teenager who stabbed three men, killing two, after an argument over a girl in a club has been jailed for a minimum of 28 years by a judge who said the case illustrated “the tragic consequences which can follow when a young man carries a knife in public”.<br/><br/>Rashane Douglas, 19, stabbed Haidar Shah, 19, Joshua Clark, 21, and Brandon Coupe, 18, in the chest within seconds of each other following a row outside a nightclub in Halifax, West Yorkshire, in the early hours of October 1 last year.<br/><br/>Mr Shah and Mr Clark died from their stab wounds, while Mr Coupe survived.<br/><br/>On Tuesday, Douglas was jailed for life with a minimum term of 28 years by Judge Jonathan Rose at Bradford Crown Court.<br/><br/>He was found guilty earlier this year of murdering Mr Clark and Mr Shah, and wounding Mr Coupe with intent.<br/><br/>Judge Rose told him: “This case is an illustration of the tragic consequences which can follow when a young man carries a knife in public.”<br/><br/>He said: “If you carry a knife, you are more likely to draw it; if you draw it, you are more likely to use it; if you use it, you are more likely to cause injury or death.”")

![The top 30 simple things that make us smile include a kind gesture from a stranger, waking up on a sunny morning – and seeing an elderly couple holding hands.<br/><br/>A study of 2,000 adults found seeing a loved one get good news, receiving a surprise gift and getting a hug also feature on the list.<br/><br/>While others experience the same joy after getting into bed with freshly washed sheets, seeing an old friend and watching a puppy.<br/><br/>But for 46 per cent of people, simply having someone smile at you makes you feel happy, with 65 per cent of adults saying that it improves their mood.<br/><br/>That positive boost lasts for an average of more than 13 minutes, leaving them more likely to be kinder to others (37 per cent), more motivated (19 per cent) or make a bold decision (nine per cent).<br/><br/>Bupa Dental Care [https://www.bupa.co.uk/dental/dental-care] commissioned the research as part of National Smile Month, to highlight the benefits the friendly gesture can have.<br/><br/>However, an experiment saw just 21 per cent of adults return the friendly gesture from a stranger.<br/><br/>During a two-hour period, actress Zara Naeem smiled at 112 different people as they walked past her - _dad-who-runs-driveway-cleaning-company-easyjetwash-in-hot-water-with-easyjet.webp "A dad who runs a driveway cleaning business called EasyJetwash is being threatened with legal action by billionaire easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou. <br/><br/>Jozsef Spekker, 43, charges around £100 to pressure wash people's drives, patios, garden paths and conservatories.<br/><br/>He has run his one-man business for three years but is now in hot water with easyGroup, which is owned by budget airline boss Sir Stelios.<br/><br/>The multinational venture capital conglomerate - worth billions - has written to Jozsef ordering him to rebrand his business or face a costly legal battle.<br/><br/>Jozsef, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs., said: “They explained how my branding was very harmful for their business. <br/><br/>“They wanted me to take all the branding off Facebook and social media, and close it <br/>down. <br/><br/>“If I do what they want me to do I have to close the business. I’d have to start again. <br/><br/>“The first two years I spent a lot of money on advertisements. <br/><br/>“I have hundreds of videos on YouTube, a ten minute video takes a long time to edit. I have at least 160 videos. People like to watch them. <br/><br/>“It’s mainly the word easy which is the problem.
