My debut at Cabaret Burlesque in Brisbane, which earned me 3rd place in the New Talent category (and a box of cupcakes).nnThe routine is based on my Muslim upbringing, and does directly reference Islamic prayer. I endeavoured to be as tasteful and respectful as I can.
