Description: Jeremy Schmutz, Faculty Investigator at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, gives us an overview of a recent research project focused upon understanding Pecans and helping farmers with genomic-enabled breeding. This research is done in collaboration with The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, New Mexico State University, U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS), University of Georgia, University of Arizona and the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.
